How to replace rear shock absorbers?
The first thing you need to make sure is you know what you do and how to do it safely.
Step 1: Performing a thorough inspection to determine what parts need a replacement.
Step 2: Loosen the rear wheel bolts.
Step 3: Put the car into gear, chock the front wheels then jack-up the rear of the car and support it on axle stands.
Step 4: Remove the wheel
Step 5: Remove the shock absorber top mounting nut/bolt(s).
Step 6: Loosen and remove the mounting bolt(s) at the bottom of the shock absorber.
Step 7: Remove the shock absorber from the wheel arch.
Step 8: Fitting is a reverse of removal.
Step 9: Inspecting the rear suspension, power suspension, and suspension springs for any worn or damaged parts.
Step 10: Refitting the wheels, and test if the car or 4WD is operating correctly
